Electron Microscopy Sciences BSE Reference Standard, Nickel/Copper
When equipped with a back-scattered electron detector, an electron microscope has the capability to produce images in which the contrast is controlled by differences in atomic number across the specimen. Three reference samples are now available for testing the differences of atomic number. Each of the reference samples consists of two high purity elements that have an atomic number difference of 1. They are in form of a wire of the low Z element embedded in a matrix of the high Z element. The samples are mounted onto 5 mm diameter blocks.
Electron Microscopy Sciences Digital Dry Bath
Thermally control samples during use with Digital Dry Bath. Utilizes all CoolSafe system chambers. Temperatures can be controlled from 5 degree above ambient to 100 degree C in 1 degree increments to allow for stable operation. Aluminum block evenly transfer heat to tubes for uniform heat transfer. Each unit comes with a block lifter to safely remove hot chambers for easy removal.

Designed to be used with a clip-on Tempette or Tempunit thermoregulator (sold separately), these water baths incorporate carrying handles for added safety. All water baths have stoved enamelled steel outer cases and are supplied with bridge mounting plate to hold the thermoregulator.
